Inflorescences in panicles 0.6-1.5 m high, with numerous bell-shaped, stemmed white flowers, sometimes tinted purple or red 3.5 cm long. The fruit is green and ripening brown, 5-8 cm long and 2.5 cm wide with black seeds.
